Thanks, everyone, for the kind expressions of concern following this week’s post about Boy 12. I’m happy to report that he emerged from that difficult summer really well and is doing wonderfully. He’s having his best year in school and is off his antidepressants (with the doctor’s ok). He’s a smart, happy 12-year-old who likes fart jokes and cleans his room by pushing everything to the edges and vacuuming the middle. That is to say, he’s pretty much back to normal.
